What this app does
DuoSou (多搜) lets you enter a query once, then choose which public sites to open. It is not a new search engine and not an AI search app. It builds public search URLs on your device and opens external services.
The goal is a simpler, more intuitive, more flexible way to build your own Google advanced search. You decide where to search.

Do I need an account?
No. Open the app and use it. No sign-in required.
Does DuoSou save my searches?
Not by default. History stays off unless you turn it on in Settings → Search privacy. If you turn it on, keywords stay only on this device, up to 30 entries.
How do I set a PIN?
Go to Settings → App lock and turn on the 4-digit PIN. DuoSou will ask for it when you open the app. If the PIN is wrong, the app opens as if it were newly installed, to protect your privacy. The PIN is stored on this device; we cannot reset it for you.
Do you use AI on my searches?
No. There is no AI involved, and DuoSou does not scrape websites.
Why are there ads?
DuoSou is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob. DuoSou does not pass your query to the ad system as a custom targeting parameter.
Where is my data stored?
Favorites, custom profiles, custom sources, and app lock data stay on this device. DuoSou does not operate a server that receives your search queries.
What happens when I open Google or another site?
That service receives the request according to its own rules. DuoSou does not control how third parties process it, and does not claim searches are completely anonymous.
