Scope
This policy explains how BRAI Lab handles data in the DuoSou (多搜) mobile app. DuoSou is a privacy-first multi-search utility. You can use it without creating an account. Search URLs are built on this device. DuoSou does not operate a server that receives your search queries.
DuoSou is not a new search engine and not an AI search app. There is no AI involved, and DuoSou does not scrape website content.
What we do not collect
- No sign-up, sign-in, email, or user profile is required.
- Search keywords are not sent to a DuoSou-operated server.
- DuoSou does not use analytics services (for example Firebase Analytics or Google Analytics).
- DuoSou does not collect search queries for advertising, and does not use them as custom ad targeting data.
- DuoSou does not use AI to analyze your search data.
Data stored only on this device
The following data stays on your device so the app can work. DuoSou does not upload it to its own backend:
- Settings such as language and appearance.
- Favorites.
- Custom search profiles and custom search sources.
- Search history: off by default. Keywords are stored on this device only if you turn history on in Settings → Search privacy, up to 30 entries. Turning history off also deletes saved entries.
- App lock: if you enable the 4-digit PIN, the device stores a salted hash, not the PIN in plain text. We cannot reset the PIN for you.
Uninstalling the app typically removes this on-device data, depending on the operating system.
Third-party search services you open
When you choose to open Google, YouTube, or another third-party search service, that request is sent according to how that service works. DuoSou does not control how those services process the request. See each service’s own privacy policy.
DuoSou therefore does not claim that searches are completely anonymous or invisible.
Advertising
DuoSou is free and supported by ads. The app displays banner ads from Google AdMob.
DuoSou does not pass your search query to the advertising system as a custom targeting parameter. The advertising SDK may collect device or advertising identifiers according to Google’s policies, which are separate from DuoSou’s in-app practices.

Children
DuoSou is a general-purpose utility. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Use the app without creating an account.
- Leave search history off, or turn it off and clear it at any time.
- Choose which search services to open.
- Limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier in system settings, depending on your device.
- Uninstall the app to remove on-device data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of DuoSou means you understand the updated description.
